Coca-Cola Amatil

Coca-Cola Amatil Limited (CCA) was an Australian bottler of non-alcoholic beverages that existed from 1904 to 2021, when it merged with Coca-Cola European Partners to form Coca-Cola Europacific Partners. It was one of the largest bottlers of non-alcoholic ready-to-drink beverages in the Asia-Pacific region and one of the world's five major Coca-Cola bottlers. CCA operated in six countries—Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Fiji and Samoa. The company also bottled beer and coffee.

Problem Statement

CCA needed to develop an app tool that would help their salesforce on the road sell more CCA drink products and create life long clients by showcasing the benefits and insights CCA can offer their clients.
My Role
UI Design
Project Goals
  1.   Communicate with all stakeholders and managers in
every department in the company and collate all
      insights and infographics and populate
      them into the app

  2.   Create an easy to navigate app that allows the
salesforce to win clients and sell more product.

Approach

Our team began by collecting all important data needed for the app from numerous sources within the company. Once all information have been collated and approved by senior staff it was then passed onto my manager who then worked together with me to map out all the information. Wireframes were created and then Hi-fidelity prototypes were made.

My main role in the whole process was to create all the UI design layouts for the entire app, which included: selling stories, infographics, shopper insights and other tools to not only win over the client but also help them sell more.

To the right is the video of the first iteration of the PICOS app.
Prototyping UI Design never sleeps

After a year my manager conducted some user interviews and user testing. After synthesising the data I was then given the information and my role was to create a 2nd iteration of the app design. My designs were then approved by senior staff and given to the developers.

Learnings

Collaboration and communication are vital to creating an app that spams around every department in a large company. Due to the great collaboration within my team and other managers the 3DPICOS app was awarded the 2016 Right Execution Daily GCCL award hosted by The Coca-Cola Company. This app was also purchased and applied into another bottling company's system.in Singapore.
